Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
I prefer mormor or sheriarty, though i will do adiarty as well. As for my do's and don't's....i don't have things I won't do, much. There are some things I won't do, but i'm not inclined to share that publicly.

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
Searching for 'an equal', aren't you? Announcing your dos & don'ts help future partner to weight whether they want to play or not. Covering it.... any specific reason why?

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
Not really. I just didn't really feel like doing so? As a Moriarty rper, a lot of my rps get dark and I don't exactly want to freak anyone out.

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
Read the past RPs here, this place is where torture and the likes exist. People have different ideas about 'dark RP', some of them are interested on that. On the other hand, announcing your ideas will help you to weed out the undesirables - those who cannot stomach your brand of roleplaying. Merely dangling the Moriarty name and hint of 'dark RP' is not enough for those experienced in roleplaying because it is basically saying, "I don't want to give you any information because I want to keep my high ground. I will choose you but not the otherwise".

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
Well I like to do non-con often, and I'm looking to strengthen my dark moriarty since I usually rp him as softer. I don't mind almost anything, as long as there's not scat or vomit, things like that gross me out.

Better. Now, what kind of things exactly that you think as dark? And... non-con can means you like to play the aggressor or the recipient, which one is it?

Torture, coldness, more detached from his emotions. The Moriarty who isn't afraid to do anything.

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
my user is gillykitty, i'm not allowed to post a link for seven days since i'm new, apparently.
archiveofourown .org/users/gillykitty (unless that works).
I also rp as Richard Brook, though some of the fandom doesn't even recognize him as a character.

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
I see what you mean with whump!Jim. Well, Jim Moriarty is all about mindgames. Are you ready for that aspect (Jim have a duel of wits with someone) or do you rather play 'Jim toys with his capture'?

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
I'm not good with fight scenes, so it probably should be Jim toying with them.

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
Duel of wits like The Great Game, that episode (and the whole series one) can be interpreted as Jim building up from Jeff the mad cab driver to finally culminate in Sherlock's 'death'. Mindgames.

Oh, those I'm fine with. I love evil, manipulative Jim.

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
Lol. That's alright. Let's start with brainstorming. We all know the series, lets use that as reference. Which points of time do you like and why. How do you think things could turn up if it is your Jim in charge instead of Andrew Scott's? Or, maybe you prefer AUs, creating a whole different universe of you own.

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
I liked when he stole the crown jewels, and when they cut off to where Mycroft had him in a holding cell or whatever, when he was just giving the man that was punching him that cold, dark look.
Also, i'd prefer not to do a AU.
As for the other stuff...I'm not sure if I want my Jim to differ much. Maybe he gets more violent than Andrew Scott's Jim, but I'll try to play him fairly accurate.

Bantering with words and maybe actions. Onto the bigger scheme. If you do a fix-it play, which ones do you think your character can and will change?

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
I think he'd fix the mistakes of not stopping Sherlock sooner, and he'd do something to prevent Sherlock from reaching the fame he did, simply because even though he loved how the man solved his puzzles, Jim liked to be in control. I also think he wouldn't make himself as vulnerable, and would keep himself protected at all times.

Re: Jim Moriarty...Hi!
Between his business empire and the prospect of metaphorical tango with someone that he thought as his counterpart, yours will choose the first. Your Jim looks like the chessmaster type instead of magnificent bastard. Am I right on that regard?

He thinks a lot, yes. He wont underestimate his opponent, and he'll often slay them as soon as he can.
