Sherlock loved John's giggles. Every time he giggled, he had done something right. Maybe not socially right, but making somebody laugh surely can't be a bad thing, can it?
"They have all the reasons to." He whispered in his ear again. He decided he'd look at John for as long as possible, but as his eyes lifted briefly at the sky, he followed his gaze and was amazed by the beauty of it. He did not let John's hand go. This was far too funny, comfortable and gave him a feeling which made his stomach tingle.
During the cab ride, he observed John and saw all the signs of arousement and excitement. That caused a devious smile on his face, which he hoped John would notice. He wanted him to know he had plans for him when they arrived at the flat. Though he didn't really have a plan. He trusted on his instincts. Now he actually wanted to touch John more, get closer to him, but he said that he would do that in the flat, which now sounded like a rubbish idea. Patience was not one of Sherlock's best qualities. Instead of further touching, he entwined his fingers with John's, instead of the hand-folding thing he had done before.
When they got around the corner of 221B Baker Street, Sherlock tore his gaze off John to retrieve his wallet and got the money out for the cab. When it stopped he gave the driver the money and opened the door for John.
He still did not let go of John's hand when he opened the door of 221B. "Mrs. Hudson, we are not to be disturbed tonight, under no circumstances." he shouted at the door of 221A. "And please don't ask questions." He pulled John upstairs, again showing his impatience. He wanted to know if he could. If he really could seduce someone like John.
