Anyone fancy doing anything with parentlock? Maybe a teenage Hamish...? Could possibly be with other slashes children or just John and Sherlock.

Sounds like quite a challenge. I've always wondered what Sherlock would be like as a dad.

Yeah me too. I'd imagine he'd be the more strict one and John like an over protective mum.

Oh cool. Shall we adopt Hamish then?

Are we going to set this that they've had him since he was a baby and that they've brought him up together etc?

Yeah I think Hamish should definitely be theirs. I always imagine them both making a sperm donation to a surrogate mum.

Makes sense yeah, and it would be fun to have him with traits of Sherlock and John but in the same person. So how old should he be? If he was an older teen (like 15/16/17) then he could go out and help them solve crimes as well as rebel against them a bit.

Ooh by the way, I think they should still live in Baker Street, and Hamish should be upstairs in John's old room.

As for surrogate mum, not sure. Most people go for Molly. But there's always Irene, lol.

Oh shit yeah just need one fast sperm. face palm. Well women are more my former area than your dad's but he makes the big decisions really. The Woman likely as the massive intellect choice but Irene spoil her figure for her work, erm I think not.

I'll go look on the thread.

Cannot possibly live anywhere but Baker Street, what's up with you, Hamish upstairs yes.

So I just thought...there's certain implications to doing this.

Sherlock and John would both be at least 50 years old, so I wrote in a bit about Lestrade retiring. It's quite possible that Mrs Hudson would be dead, even if not, she certainly wouldn't be our landlady anymore so we need to think of a new one or maybe that they actually saved enough money to buy Baker Street off her when she retired.

Also, I'm totally going to reference bees. Been dying to do that for ages.

Yeah I reckon they've brought up 221B, maybe even made a lap or something of the downstairs? Poor Hudson :/ And as for the surrogate mother, maybe an anonymous one. Although Molly's a nicer enough girl I think its a bit too much to expect her to carry their child (however much she really wanted sherlock in her bed Wink )
And yes bees! Go for it.

There is a line in canon that Sherlock could have afforded to buy 221B. Must have bees.
How young would Molly? have been when she donated the egg. Canon Mrs H lived with Holmes on the farm. Bought 221B and we can discuss moving if you like.

Oh my God yes, let's totally have downstairs as Sherlock's private lab...that would make John happy to have the kitchen back, and then Sherlock can have his own private space away from the other two when he needs to think.

I'm happy with an anonymous surrogate, makes sense. I'm not sure Sherlock would want Molly's genes in his child anyway, however much she "counts" she's not the brightest button in the box, lol.
