What are your expectations?

I have two rules.

1. No smut, unless otherwise said by me and/or situational

2. I don't take a liking to writing a huge page, and being greeted with 2 sentences.

Besides that, I'm game for anything!

Rule number two in my eyes read as, "Don't write something in 100 words when 10 words is enough. Going round and round is not attractive, cut away the excessively flowery language".

Since your Greg Lestrade will be the central character, what genres this RP will have?

Genres? I assume the crime would make it a mixture of horror, comedy, romance (if certain characters are involved). All the good stuff SHERLOCk is famous for. *shrug*

Every fan of SHERLOCK have their own interpretation of what make the series famous and enjoyable. What is yours and what exactly do you mean with 'certain characters'?

I think sherlock is awesome because it, like shakespeare, in the darkest or saddest moments, there is an element of hope or humor. In the creepiest and most twisted elements of moriarty, there is a sort of whimsy or fun.

Also, what I meant by certain characters was simply my way of asking if you wanted to add a few teaspoons of hinted mystrade into the mix.

That's actually inline with my inability to not insert humour into a game.

Mystrade? You bet, but how far that hint goes to? Someone like Mycroft probably have more than a few vengeful ghosts trailing him, those who is dead either by his order or by his own hand.

I mean hints within subtle means. Something like, trying to get them off your mind, attempting to hide a certain text from a coworker.

Dialogue like:

"They say opposites attract"

"Really?"

*long silence*

"Fancy that"

smirk/wink/etc.

*fangirling ensues*


I'm not sure if we really have to get Mycroft involved in the story, but it might be fun to put some tidbits into the story that suggest attraction.

There is something you must know, any character I play inevitably will have Mycroft-alike traits in one form or another because of the way my mind works. He is simply the closest in the SHERLOCK-verse, which not even Sherlock The Hat Detective become the second fit, but the archetype exist in various other circumstances. Which character do you think that might be suitable, in order to avoid major OOC?

lol. Oh, who am I to go against your calling. I play Mycroft often as well, so I relate. Go ahead. We'll fit him in somehow! But in the meantime, Anderson and donovan are needed probably.
