I am not surprised. They are going to have to postpone the welcoming party for a while down there. Not too long though, I wouldn't want to disappoint them. SH

There's NO ONE down there. They're all party crashing at the angel's party. How is my favorite angel doing, by the way?

An explanation? Oh, you know how to bloody lure me in, but I do not trust you. I still have too much to lose, even though I am dead. SH

-He immediately booked a first class ticket, he could leave the same day. The flight would be long but he didn't mind. All checked in and ready to go, James leaned his head back into the seat of the airplane-

Take your time. I am not looking forward to it. SH

Sherlock put the phone down with a grimace, dread was pulling at the mouth of his stomach.
It wasn't his best idea, but he had no choice again.

John was safe now, he knew as much, and it was the most important thing, especially now that his plan was finally in motion.

He laid on the hotel bed for a nap, looking at the ceiling and trying to ignore the feeling of loss that never seemed to waver.
He still wished he could go home.

-A long plane ride later, James sat foot onto Narita International Airport. Passing security easily, he stood in the arrivals hall. He get's out his phone tapping a quick message onto it.-

"Care for some sushi? Let me know where you are.

James Moriarty. Xx "

A soft 'Ah' and Sherlock is standing from his seat beside arrivals. He looks at his phone and then puts it back in his jacket pocket.

He looks around boredly, hands in his pockets, he is quite different, with a soft stubble on his face and shorter hair, but he is still Sherlock Holmes in the elegant way he carries himself once he has a target.

"I hope you do not plan to eat at the airport, the food here is dreadful," he says once he arrives behind Moriarty.

A grin formed on his lips as he heard the detectives deep, low voice. He waited a few seconds before turning around, staring at the face he'd been longing to see again for oh so long.

"I assume you do know a nice place to have lunch?" He replied, still grinning. "Sherlock" he added to make his question complete.

A long chill ran up Sherlock's spine as their eyes locked, it showed on Sherlock's lips with a grimace.
It had been a long time, and he hated how familiar it felt, just because he had lost all that was familiar before.

"I do, but it'll take a while," he replied icily, turning the opposite way and walking towards the taxi exit.
"Jim," he added with a hiss.

He licked his dry lips, while staring Sherlock in his eyes. "I've got time on my side" James spoke, pouting a bit when Sherlock turned his back. He followed him out, watching every motion Sherlock's body made.

"Sooo, Tokyo, huh?" He mumbled out, while waiting to get into a taxi.

"Being dead has its perks," he pointed out unfeelingly, "But again, you always seem to have time to spare," especially if it was time spent to chase Sherlock.

He just glared at him as they waited for their turn to get a taxi.

"No one knows me here, and it's far enough from Mycroft."

And many other reasons he could not speak about.

"And far away from John." He spoke John's name in such a way he knew it struck straight to Sherlock's heart. But this was only the start. He had plans for Sherlock. Plan's John didn't fit into. He looks at the tall man out of the corner of his eyes, noticing he had a difficult time fighting of his emotion when James mentioned his best friend's name.

He climbed into the taxi, allowing Sherlock to name the place they were heading.

Sherlock's jaw clenched at the mention of John, it was hard to ignore the tug at his heart, but he was good at not making a scene of it on his features. What he let on was hardly as powerful as what he felt.

It was true, he had to be as far as possible to fight the need to go back.

He had nothing to go back to, he tried to repeat to himself.

"I am dead to him, there is no need to be far away," he said simply, before sliding in the taxi after Moriarty.

He spoke with the driver briefly in perfect Japanese and then turned to look outside the window.

"It takes more than one hour to get to the city, I suggest you relax," he said, resting his chin on his hand as he stared at the countryside that rolled past.

I've seen him recently, you know. -he pauses for a second, knowing he had to chose his following words carefully.- John. - he once again glances at Sherlock- He looked good, well.. Better. -a weak smile found his way to Moriaty's lips. "He's carrying on, Sherlock. Forgetting." He once more waited a few seconds before carrying on, not letting Sherlock interrupt his speech. "Because someone isn't really dead, until he is forgotten." With those words he finished, sliding back in his seat and resting his eyes.

Sherlock's eyes unfocused, he didn't want to listen, but he couldn't help it, he wanted to know, he would always want to know.
Those pauses grated at his soul, but he did not complain.
Sherlock didn't complain any more.

For a moment he was speechless, he knew his voice would break if he tried to talk, so he settled for caressing his cheeks, feeling the short beard he was trying to grow.
It was meant to calm him down. It did.

"John is strong," he said finally. "He's building himself a new life, and he will be happy."

"He does not need to remember me. It's just useless information."
