"Your boy is a menace! I cannot take it here any longer. I quit!" A woman in her mid 30s shouted at Mrs. Holmes as she stormed out of the office. Mrs. Holmes sat there speechless for only a moment longer before picking up her phone and buzzing the housekeeper. "Ms. Hudson? Can you please be a dear and bring up Sherlock. Oh and Ms. Hudson. Do it old school would you?" She asked with a smile hanging up. A few minuets later she smirked hearing the hurried footsteps.
"Ow ow ow ow ow!" Sherlock hissed as he was being dragged into his mothers office by his right ear. Ms. Hudson lead him right up to Mrs. Holmes' desk. "Thank you Ms. Hudson for escorting him up. Say thank you Sherlock."
Sherlock glowered. "Thank you, Nanny" Mrs. Holmes merely shook her head at her son's nickname of their long time housekeeper and family friend Ms. Hudson. She turned to her son and smiled. It was a scary sight on a beautiful petite woman. "Do you know why you're here Sherlock?"
Sherlock looked at her a moment and inhaled taking a deep breath about to tell his mother exactly why he was here when she held up her hand for silence. "Save it." She said the smile sliding away and a frown took its place. Damn he hated when she did that. "Sherlock that is the third tutor this week. I know I am the only parent that must have 30 different tutors on standby for a single month because said pupil always seems to hash our their personal business and make them run out. Honestly how are you ever going to become a scientist or a philosopher if you keep chasing away your tutors." She scolded
"Oh I changed my mind. I don't want to be either of those to dull. I want to be a detective. A consulting detective to be exact."
"Dear that's not even a real occupation."
"I know."
She was silent for a moment before she sighed shaking her head. Her children never ceased to amaze her. She could only imagine if she had had a girl. "Well then. Since you obviously don't need tutors I shall cancel the remainder of your sessions" She said. Sherlock's eyes narrowed "What's the catch?" She grinned "Your coming up to the cabin with is for the summer."
A loud torturous groan could be heard from all the way down the hall.
