Hello!
I've had an idea for a while and would like someone to help me develop it into a proper storyline (and naturally to write it with me) as I can't seem to think of anything satisfying enough.
So here's what I had in mind:
After The Fall, while Sherlock is hunting down Moriarty's men (and John believes him to be dead), Sherlock receives a head injury which causes him to fall into a coma. Mycroft intervenes (he'd helped his brother fake is death and had kept an eye on him since) and brings him back to London; he feels obliged to tell John that Sherlock is actually alive and unwell, in case he might actually die this time. Naturally John is angry as hell but can't express it considering Sherlock's condition and suppresses his emotions. Soon enough Sherlock wakens and it turns out the injury caused a lot of damage to his brain, mainly affecting his cognitive functions. (Just in case: cognition is the processes of thinking, remembering, understanding, reasoning, and communicating). At first he does not remember that he was once brilliant, a genius consulting detective; slowly though, he remembers and a lot of angst ensues, combined with Johns' emotions too.
...And from there I'm not sure where to go. If anybody is interested, do let me know (even more than one person), any help and collaboration would be greatly appreciated. :)
