John sent poetry by e-mail to his girlfriends.
John's poetry to Sherlock -
An October's night
I describe my longing and
he responds with passion.
He speaks of belonging and, I know
he loves me, in his own, strange fashion
My lips describe a path around his perfect mouth,
he breathes out, a groan, and all my thoughts go south,
like geese, flying.
