Mine is a toss up between Reichenbach and Study In Pink. Reichenbach is too emotional and hard to watch at times although extremely dramatic obviously and well written...compared with ASIP which is really upbeat and happy the way John & Sherlock meet for the first time and become best buddies instantly.

Couldn't really chose between a Study in Pink and a Scandal in Belgravia... But I had to go with ASiP. The plot is just sooo good..

I have a toss up too I love ASiP with a passion and love the beginnings of their friendship, but TRF is too much at times even though we know that Sherlock is alive etc..

A Study in Pink, anytime. It's an instant one-shot and overlays any queries as to the relations between characters.
John's involvement is soon set in, which is gorgeous because I'm a huge Freeman fan. He's so funny!

I would go mainstream (*puts on hipster glasses*) and say the Reichenbach Fall.
Or the Great Game, maybe.
I think I'm just a sucker for evil monologuing.

Hmmh! I love them all especially Hounds (Should show it to "my" kids. Maybe I could fool them and just say it's a horror movie...) but I had to go with Scandal. Such a gem! And that damn camera work! Holmes brothers together. John and Irene together in that derelict building. Pretty, pretty things! Lot of eye candy for me.
I have to admit that Bling Banker is not as strong as other eps are but still <3

I can't pick a favourite, I like SiP and RBF and Hound, my least fave is Blind Banker although that's where you see Sherlock teaching John his methods quite well. There are some fantastic funny lines, comedic moments and sparkling camera work in other episodes. I'm very glad they have read the canon and didn't give us a bungling Watson. I think Martin Freeman are both a very competent and have worked intelligently and extremely hard.

Wow this is really surprising, my favorite is The Hounds of Baskerville closely followed by Blind Banker (no votes??!! whyyy?) and Great Game. Although I love Irene as a character the plot in A Scandal In Belgravia has so many holes and is not as well explain- plus the ending was disappointing :/ I prefer the ones with deductions and crimes which you have a chance of working out as you watch them- Study in Pink was good but a bit simplistic (although the mind game thing the cabbie plays with sherlock is awesome). And all the fluffy friendship stuff as well as the trying to work out what the 'hound' was amazing

Hmm, tough one... They're all brilliant. I really quite like A Study in Pink though and, being biased as the psychopathic killer's writer, The Great Game and The Reichenbach Fall are both pure genius.
