Somewhere Only We Know (Anthea)

She felt the affection and his smile. She loved his smile.

Yes, I have reports to write.

All she wanted to do was go home, or go to the Villa

Mycroft wanted nothing more than to take her home and stay in bed all day. Of course they couldn't, but it was a nice thought.

"Love, what say you to a long weekend? We could air out the villa."

He smiled,and stepped away a bit, looking into her eyes.

Anthea turned to face Mycroft. She loved the Villa. So many memories. She then smiled and cocked her head.

Sounds delightful, we need a break together

She then looked deeply into his eyes, and then licked her lips thinking about what they could do.

Mycroft chuckled and cupped her face.

"YOu minx!" He saw her reaction,and kissed her again.

"As much As Iwould love to clear my schedule and continue snogging you, we really must get back to work."

He ended their contact, not before kissingher hand, and sat behind his desk.

She smiled lightly then cocked her head. She received the kiss with flutter in her heart.

She then went to the door and unlocked it.

I will bring those reports through shortly

She turned and smiled. Then casually walked out of the door.

Mycroft watched her has she left, and sighed as he tackled the paperwork on his desk. He shook his head and sighed again.

He fiddled with the small box in his pocket. Another Day. He thought, and went back to work.

Anthea was pottering around trying to complete the paperwork for one of the new staff; she kept thinking about Mycroft. That man became her life when she started the job 4 years back and now she is infatuated by him.

She decided to call through to ask if he needed anything; she put on her professional voice.
Mr Holmes, do you need me to get anything?

Mycroft sighed as he saw it was Anthea calling. He silently cursed. Yes, he needed her to get in there so he could bloody propose.

"Tea would be lovely, Anthea, thank you."

Anthea smiled when the intercom replied: No problem Sir, about five minutes. I have the Baddington Reports also. She then sighed.

She made the tea; the way he liked it and added two custard creams. And commenced towards the door. Pressing the buzzer nervously, feeling her pulse race.

Mycroft answered the door, and smiled as her put the tea and report on his desk. He smirked and grabbed her for a quick kiss.

"I really didn't need any tea."

Anthea was shocked at the impulsiveness of his actions, but turned round and kissed back.
She knew this was not a business matter, her heart was racing and head was spinning.

Did you want anything Mycroft?

Mycroft drew her closer, never wanting to let go. He was notgoing to get down on one knee, but he did fish the ring from his pocket.

"Only for you to become my wife."

He popped open the ring box,showing her a very expensive white gold ring, set with three princess cut diamonds.

Anthea felt Mycroft drawing her in closer. She was prepared for affection but not that.
She took a step back in shock, she felt her cheeks erupt. She did not know whether to laugh or cry.

She glanced at the ring, and smiled.

That..that would be my honour Mycroft She then placed her hand forward, shaking slightly.

Mycroft placed the ring on her finger, then turned it over and kissed her palm. He softened around her. He ran his fingers though her hair.

"You know, at this moment, I am infinitely happy."

He smiled downat her and drew her head against his chest.

Anthea felt the ring slide on her finger how did he know my size? AH he is a Holmes of course he would know

She smiled and felt his heart beat whilst in the tight embrace. She took a moment to compose herself, subconsciously she bit into her lip.

Mycroft, you have made my heart melt. Ever since you requested me into this job - I knew you were different. I love you

Mycroft held her hand, now bearing his ring. He caressed her hand.

"It'S not going to be easy, Anthea." He smiled. "You are remarkable. I love you."

He drew her closer. "Mmmm, we should make that long weekend at the villa an entire week."

Anthea smiled lightly; and received the affection.

Yes I am aware it may cause problems, we can work around it.

She nodded and thought of the Villa, she then kissed him passionately before arranging the agendas for the week.

We have the week free barring any disasters

Mycroft, like his brother, considered himself married to his work. Until his PA, this beautiful woman 12 years his junior turned his world upside down. He chuckled nad held her too him, stroking her hair.

"We are quite a pair, aren't we?"

Anthea felt very secure in his arms. Firm, yet affectionate.

We will have to tell Sherlock..he will not be amused.

Anthea then looked at her hand, and how sparkly the ring was and chuckled to self.

"Au contrair, my love. My little brother will be highly amused."

He traced her palm. "Mother will love you."

He stroked her hair again. Gods, he loved her hair.

Anthea wanted him there and then. She took a deep breath.

Oh, I have heard of Mrs Holmes from your brother. And I am sure Sherlock will enjoy me being his sister in law chuckling to self.

"You have,have you?" Mycroft arched his eyebrow. "Oh I'm sure he will. John will be quite put out."

Mycroft chuckled to cover his desire.

Anthea began chuckling away, and smirked.

Yes, your brother told me that she is very strong willed and finds Sherlock to be rather unpleasant at times. So what next then? Shall I book the flights?

"Everyone finds Sherlock unpleasant at times, m'dear." He lened in and planted a soft kiss on her lips. "Yes. I'll make all the other arrangements."

He pulled away reluctantly, and sat behind his desk.

Anthea recieved the affection, she really was overpowered by Mycroft's affection. She nodded and kissed back.

I will arrange the flights, and my cover. I love you Mycroft.
Anthea then cocked her head and walked out of the office, then glanced back with a smile. She had butterflies, and felt nauseous.
