Richard Brook seeks Jim or a Seb

I'm new to the site btw so apologies if it shows *blush*. So, like the topic says I'm a Rich looking to find either a Jim because he's my brother and I love him dearly or a Seb. I'm a slasher at heart but I don't mind gen...can't do het, sorry.

Haha that's really more of a Jim thing to do we should work out a 'verse so the boys can play <3

I kind of have a cool idea which i'll run past you guys...one that involves all three of us.

I presume we are working on the premise that Richard is a real person and genuinely an actor and that Jim is his evil twin brother...so maybe we could do something post-Reichenbach starting off between John and Rich.

John would be upset over Sherlock's 'death' and Rich upset over Jim's. If you could arrange for them to run into each other again somehow, John would realise that Rich and Jim really were two separate people and they would become friends, both needing each other for comfort and yes, it would blatantly turn slashy.

Then later on Sherlock could return and completely freak out about John and Rich, automatically assuming it's Jim who has also faked his own death and basically being ultra jealous and protective, Johnlock feels. And John of course would be pretty angry at Sherlock for faking his death so room for plenty of angst too.

Sounds fun. Three hander no pun intended. Potential slash fest. God nobody would think I could do it straight trad if I go on like this, ah well.

Haha John should be wearing a Believe In Sherlock badge! I kind of have this headcanon that John is responsible for the whole movement.

But anyway, I guess he would just be totally shocked to see him and would probably believe he was Jim. Remember John doesn't actually know that Jim's dead.

He'd believe if Richard was going over his lines from a script, had his RADA card and offered him a ticket for the stage play.

Think you are right on both counts, better have em get off the tube at same stop to avoid a humungous scene on the tube. Or they could get thrown off it if tubes have conductors.

Oh, so you're playing it that Rich Brook from Kitty's flat WAS actually Jim, but he was just posing as his brother? He was basically just stealing his brother's identity for a bit cause it fitted well with his plan?

Jim was stealing your identity unknown to you and impersonating you. If you look like Jim then John would mistake you for Jim and you would easy know of John from seeing the Believe campaign on the net and he'd probably be wearing the the shirt as well as the button.

Yes, so he sees John staring at him at the tube station and probably thinks its because of his z list celebrity status, which he gets a lot, so he smiles and John probably doesn't think too much of that.

So this sounds brilliant already! I'll just sit and watch you guys for a while until I feel it's Sherlock's time to return. I may have a few random posts leading up to his actual return just documenting what he's doing and so on.

Where's it going, in the slash section? What shall the title be? I suck at titles, sorry.

I think the title should be something fun like "Are you ready for the story?" Or some kind of storytelling reference definitely.

And yeah, probably the slash section would be appropriate seeing as we all know it'll end in that direction at some point lol.

I was going to go all canon and suggest "The Noble Bachelors" but Are You Ready For The Story is better Ohh Def the slash section
