Is Amy going to be in it from the beginning?

I was thinking we could start off with the Doctor travelling on his own, he crashes the Tardis at Baker Street, meets Sherlock, takes Sherlock with him, go somewhere, meet up with Amy, try to find John who has gone missing or been kidnapped or something.

Hmmm I don't know. I have always believed that Jane would try to get to Sherlock romantically if they hadn't met (just like Amy did) .But if they had already met, Jane and Amy could have fun conversations, which would be hilarious.

WAIT I HAVE AN IDEA: if you are planning on picking up Jane, she could have been the Doctors former companion and when she sees Sherlock, she thinks he's the next generation

That's kind of a cool idea. So the Doctor and Jane already know each other but Sherlock doesn't. We just have to figure out when and why she stopped being the Doctor's companion, and also where Amy fits in.

Well, Jane knows the Doctor prior to this generation, so when she sees Sherlock and the (11th/12th, dunno) Doctor, she assumes that Sherlock is the new one.
