I'm looking for someone to do an RP with me over email where Sherlock and John are in their fifth year at Hogwarts. Here is the starter:
It started with Sherlock Holmes not completing his homework. After classes he was so tired that he would just go straight to bed, leaving very little time for his homework to be done. Then he started falling asleep in class. In some subjects, such as the history of magic, he could get away with it. In others, he lost points for Gryffindor. His grades were dropping steadily and it looked as if he would fail his OWLs. In one potions lesson when Sherlock fell asleep, Snape, trying to be mean, sent him to the hospital wing. Sherlock would have preferred to go to his dorm and sleep but one of the Slytherins was made to go with him so he was forced to go to see Madame Pomfrey.
If he was perfectly honest, Sherlock would say that Snape had done him a favour. It was there that Madame Pomfrey had told him that he had cancer, a muggle illness that rarely showed up in wizards. All the teachers were notified immediately and there was talk of sending him home or to St Mungo's but Madame Pomfrey insisted he stayed at Hogwarts. There was nothing that could be done for him at home and St Mungo's didn't use muggle cures for illnesses so they would be no good to him either. At Hogwarts, however, Madame Pomfrey would use whatever she could find that might help make him better, magic or muggle.
It was decided that he would continue to go to classes as long as he felt well enough and the teachers were to excuse him falling asleep. None of the students knew yet but Sherlock was sure that they would all know soon. News had a way of finding its way around the school. He was allowed to go back to his dorm late that night. When he made his way up to his room, he saw that only one of the boys in the room were still awake. John Watson. They weren't friends, Sherlock didn't have friends, but they were friendly enough to each other and Watson would usually partner up with him when they needed partners. "What are you still doing awake, Watson?" he asked as he sat down on his bed. "It's really late."
